            BMS will issue football equipment for 7th & 8th graders on Aug. 18 from 3 - 8. The first day of practice for the 8th grade will be Aug. 22 from 4 - 6 and the 7th grade on Aug. 23 from 4 - 6.

Physical information can be found in the Camp Brochure. All incoming 7th, freshmen and juniors must have a new physical on file prior to August 8. Athletes that do not have a physical on file prior to the first day of practice will be removed.
We strongly encourage you to attend the strength and conditioning camp, qb/wr/rb camp (#108) [only for those positions], and the 7th-9th camp (#110). We are striving to get ahead of the competition and this is a vital way to do just that. These additional camps are only for incoming 7th graders through freshmen.

We have teamed up with Georgetown Sporting Goods to give our players the opportunity to purchase shoes, gloves or clothing at a discounted price. This portal to order can be found on the bastropbears.org website.

            Our TD Booster Club membership drive is beginning. We would like to have 100 % of our player’s families as registered members. The cost to join is minimal ($15) but will help us offset budget cuts. Other family members and friends of the Bears may join as well. Form can also be downloaded from the site. You may also email our Membership Directors, Oscar and Annette Castellanos, at oscar.castellanos@centralhealth.net. Our Freshman Director is Mickey Malone and he can be contacted at mjmalone@hughes.net. Our BMS Director is Barbara Bice and she can be contacted at bice1679@gmail.com.

            Please check out bastropbears.org for any new updates. My letters sent home are placed on the Perry page and the BMS letters are placed in the Middle School tab. We also would like for you to get our twitter and facebook feeds. And finally, being a booster club member, you will receive any informational blasts that I send out. Directions to Fields

Bastrop Memorial Stadium:  Take Hwy. 71 West to Hwy. 21.  Turn left on Hwy.21 and go @ 4 miles and field will be on your left.

Decker and Manor:   Take Hwy. 71 West to Toll Rd. 130.  Turn Right on Toll Rd. and drive to Hwy. 290.  Turn Right on Hwy. 290.  Go @ 2 miles and field will be on your right. It is behind the Tech School.

Del Valle and Ojeda:  Take Hwy. 71 West to Ross Rd.  Take a left at the light.  Go @ 1 mile and the field is behind Del Valle High School.

Elgin:  Take Hwy. 95 to Elgin.  Turn left on Hwy. 290.  Go to 2nd light (across from HEB).  Turn right to the field.

Hutto and Farley:  Take Hwy. 71 West to Toll Rd. 130.  Turn Right on Toll Rd. and Exit 426.  Turn right on FM. 685.  Field on the right @ 2 miles.
